Can You Put A Portable Gas Grill On An Outdoor Table?
I have a Weber q portable grill and don’t want to spend money on their stand since it seems expensive for what you get. I’m wondering if it’s safe to put it on an outdoor table, and what material, glass, wood or plastic (I imagine plastic wouldn’t be good). I want to use it in my backyard but not on the floor.

I wouldn’t put it on my glass outdoor furniture, afraid it might get too hot and crack. I have a metal utility table I use for the portable grill. Wood could scorch and, of course, plastic is a no-no. If you have a wood table, placing a few cement blocks under the grill would protect the table. good luck.
Glass or wood should not be any problem. Just make sure that without the stand the grill is stable and will not turn over.
