CharBroil makes a very good grill. I had mine for about 12 before it went belly up. It was used couple of times a week year round, live in California.

I’m not sure of a time frame, but I can attest to Weber’s longevity. Mine finally wore otu, and we got a Brinkman. Mistake. I miss my Weber, and wish we’d have gotten replacement parts for it at Home depot or Ace Hardware before wasint $$ on this brinkman. Go w/ a Weber. You won’t be sorry. They make grilling a downright pleasure.

The average Gas barbecue grill is designed to last no more than 3 years. Of course better ones may last a bit longer and cheaper ones a bit less/
