You can either use a grill basket to hold them together, or you can use skewers to make them into kabobs to hold them together. Other than that, don’t put them directly over the heat, only around the edges, and cook them just until they are ALMOST done, not totally done, because they will continue cooking after you take them off the grill. Also, you will probably want to pre-cook your bacon to some degree before wrapping your scallops. If you do that in the microwave, it will stay soft enough that you can still wrap the scallops with it. Good luck! :)
Brush scallops with olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper. Grill must be very clean and brushed with olive oil. The easiest way to work with scallops on a grill is a grill basket or wooded skewers. Soak the skewers in cold water for half an hour before using to keep from burning.Thread the wrapped scallops onto the skewer through the side of the scallops (the edge wrapped in bacon). Place scallops on grill and cook about 4 minutes per side, depending on size of the scallops. Good luck!

Make sure you precook the bacon about halfway. Allow to cool and wrap around the scallops and brush with bacon fat or oil. Place over a medium hot fire for no more than 1 minute per side or the scallops will dry out. No salt needed, but a little pepper is always OK.
Scallops Wrapped In Bacon: [with raw bacon]
[1] On gas or charcoal grill
Place Scallops Wrapped in Bacon in a fish or vegetable rack with locking handles.
Place on a grill above a medium flame. As bacon begins to cook, turn basket over.
Keep turning basket over at a pace so that both sides are cooked evenly until bacon is crispy.
Be sure to use caution as drippings from bacon can cause flare up.
For Scallops Wrapped in Precooked Bacon:
same as above BUT it is best to defrost product first so that bacon does not burn on the grill.
[2] On the George Foreman Grill
Place frozen or defrosted Scallops Wrapped in Bacon [raw bacon] on a preheated
George Foreman Grill. When the frozen scallops start to defrost you can remove the sandwich pick.
If Scallops Wrapped in Bacon are already defrosted you can remove the sandwich picks before you
place them on the preheated grill. As the bacon starts to cook use tongs to turn the
Scallops Wrapped in Bacon a one quarter turn at a time until done.http://www.originalrangoon.com/Cooking.h…
Did you ever try to grill meat and vegetables in Reynold’s Foil? That is the easiest and the best way to do food not to mention the clean up is a snap compared to the regular way.
It still has that grilled taste to it and doesn’t hurt the other flavors either. Try it, you may like it!
