Is A Weber Gas Grill Worth The High Price That You Must Pay For It??
Seems that many other brand grills have similar features at much lower price.

I don’t know about the gas grill, but the charcoal grills are about worthless. To much money for the quality of the product.
I have a Weber charcoal grill and it is perfect for controlling the heat. Its quality is what you would expect as well. I am sure that the gas grills meet the same expectations and standards.
For Heaven’s sake, NO you don’t have to pay the high prices for a name brand! There are dozens of better priced options at your local Home Depot, Lowes, Orchard, etc., even Walmart has good options, and unless you have a need to impress your neighbors with your Weber label (and there is no shame in that–lots of people like to dress to impress even on their patio), shop around. All BBQ’s operate the same way, and with the Weber, you are paying more in order to support the company’s advertising budget.
Check out Consumer Reports for the best deal. If you’re going to make an investment in a grill I suggest getting a stainless steel one. They won’t rust and also the black enamel paint on the inside won’t peel off onto your food, This happens on the black grills after some time due to the long exposure to heat. There’s an Aussie grill that will let you use gas and also charcoal. That’s a nice feature to have. I feel any gas grill is fine, You really get what you pay for. Ask yourself, How long do I expect this to last ?Weber has ceramic grilling surface, This lasts longer and cleans up easier. A less expensive grill may or may not have the same types of features. Do your homework and get the most bang for your buck. It doesn’t have to be a Weber. Happy grilling!
I think gas grills take away from the whole experience. Nothing beats the tast of meat cooked on charcoal. You will never get that taste with gas.
