My son and I would like to get a pit for my husband but are debating on brands. We have never purchased a good pit so we don’t know what to buy. We have narrowed it down to a Weber Genesis grill, or the Charmglow. Have any of you purchased these brands before and were they good products? Also what does BTU stand for and what difference does it make when grilling? I would appreciate any advise.
I’m buying one for my husband for Father’s day and so far everyone has recommended WEBER.
I’m looking to spend about $200 on a charcoal grill but I can’t decide on what to get. I’ve looked at Char Grill, Royal Oak, Char Broil and Weber. Im looking for something that can cook at least 6 at a time and over 10 hamburgers at a time. Any suggestions??
Ive made smoked brisket in one of those large ceramic “green egg” smokers before at a friends house, but i just bought a new Weber yesterday and thats the closest i have to a smoker, and so i was wondering if anyone knew of any good ways to cook a brisket inderectly on a Charcoal grill..i was thinking maybe cooking it in an aluminum pan for maybe 6 hours and keep basting it for the first few hours or something, but i wasnt sure if that would work well or not since a weber gets much more hotter then an offset smoker….thanx in advance
I have your typical outdoor coal burning bbq grill (a Weber). im still learning the art of bbq-ing. this may seem like a stupid question but I have yet to figure out how i should open/close the vents on the lid and under the grill when I am bbq-ing. i.e. lid vents open + bottom vents closed, both open, both closed, bottom open + lid closed?
