this is using a weber charcoal grill. My coals never stay hot very long. I’m trying to cook beer-can chicken.
i would split it in half and leave myself about 1 hr to cook on grill to finish by spliting it will cook more evenally then whole…try putting a metal bowl with water soaked hickory chips on the grill about 10 minutes before bird and cook them with the bird really get a good smoked flavor…
