We Have Roaches In Our Weber Gas Grill! Does Anyone Know What To Do To Get Rid Of Them?
My husband went to fire up the grill last night and found 5 or 6 roaches living in our gas grill! Do we need to get rid of the grill or is there something we can do?

Before you put food on your grill, light the burner and close the lid. Let it heat up and burn off any accumulated foodstuff on the cooking grates and “lava rocks”. Any insects will also leave the grill as it gets hot.
You can also close the lid after you are done cooking in order to burn off any grease or other foodstuffs that are sticking to the cooking surface thereby eliminating the food that can attract the insects.

Once you fire it up they are going to disintegrate. I would not spray them, the spray be harmful as a residual effect. Burning them out is the best. There would only be a speck of dust from a roach. They came in to eat the drippings from the last time you used it.
‘boric acid’ found at walmart in roach and RAID area. sprinkle around area and house and then wait a week. No more roaches. Good for fleas too
Ask an exterminator.
Fire it up and chase em out. I wouldn’t get rid of the grill I would just store it someplace else. or you could spray it with roach killer (not while it’s on) and use tinfoil to cook your food on so you don’t contaminate it♥ Or if you want a new grill, this is a great excuse to get one♥
They are in the tubing of the frame? Most pesticides are petroleum based, and non-persistent. Buy a grill cover, put a roach bomb under the cover. Clean well afterward, and allow to burn for a hour before cooking.
Turn it on. The roaches will be cooked! Then clean it out really well - and maybe fumigate the area to stop them from coming back. Also, clean the grill after you use it. Maybe that will stop them from returning too.
Vixxie above is right — FIRE IT UP !! the roaches will either leave or get cremated. They were probably feeding on grease drippings from previous barbecues, so you might also want to clean that out. And check around the area where you store it for places they might also be hiding. But don’t spray the grill itself — that would be toxic and could poison you!
