Product Description

The Weber One-Touch Silver kettle grill is perfect for anyone who wants a well-designed, no-nonsense grill that cooks up food deliciously. Perfect for backyard barbecues or just whipping up an evening meal, this impressive grill has a cooking surface (18-1/2 inches in diameter) big enough to accommodate six large steaks, twice as many burgers, or up to a dozen kebabs. And the One-Touch Silver's classic kettle shape radiates heat evenly and keeps charcoal flare-ups to a minimum.

The barbecue pioneers at Weber--they've been making grills since 1951--know how to design a grill that lasts. The One-Touch Silver's porcelain-coated steel bowl and lid are exceptionally strong and designed never to rust, fade, or peel. The grill's hardware is of the highest quality. The aluminum vents and ash catcher won't rust, and the grill's tripod base, nylon handles, and all-weather wheels combine to make this Weber both exceptionally sturdy and easy to maneuver. Weber's patented One-Touch cleaning system--a clever setup of lever-activated blades--sifts ash out of the kettle and into the grill's removable catch pan. You never have to get your hands dirty--and emptying the kettle takes only a few seconds.

For those in search (or need) of culinary guidance, Weber includes a 31-page owner's guide filled with cooking tips and time-tested recipes for grilling everything from pork chops to bratwurst to Cornish hens.

Reviewer: SuzEQ,
We love our Weber. My husband had been wanting a gas grill for a while, but we decided we didn't want to output that much money right now. He was looking at charcoal because they were cheaper. I was a little hesitant because I thought it wouldn't get used that much due to the hassle of starting the charcoal. I saw this one on sale around Father's Day and read the reviews and I decided I might give it a shot. Once I saw the charcoal starter and how people said how easy it was, I had to order. One of the best purchases I've made in a while. We have used it a bunch this summer. I thought it might be too small, but it is a great size for a family. Unless, you are having a huge party, then I think this one will work for you. Even with a party, I think it would work fine. We use lump charcoal and it stays hot for hours. It grills wonderfully too. My husband was kidding me saying that I didn't know he was going to become a master griller, but he had to admit it wasn't him, it was the Weber. We have found that soaking some wood chips in water and adding them to the charcoal makes for a meal that far surpasses anything you can make on a gas grill. Now he's upset because his favorite lump charcoal at Sam's is gone. He wants to be able to grill through the winter.

The Weber grill, is by far the best, and most often copied. One touch of the competition will show anyone the quality and strength of the unit. What else is there to say, looks good, works great, and I know it will LAST.

Reviewer: RC,
Overall this product is well constructed and easy to assemble. If you are buying to use for a family I would step up to the next largest grill as this is a little small. Great tailgate grill, office use, or quick use but not for use if cooking for a large family.
Excellent charcoal grill

This grill is simple and elegant. I've used it to successfully grill and to slow-cook indirectly. I wish they had included a grill that hangs on the side while attending the coals, but that's minor. I would recommend occasionally sprinkling the ashes with water to keep them from blowing off the collection tray.
Great birthday gift for Hubby!

Reviewer: Jade Rose,
While we still haven't actually used the new grill, we're both confidant that the Weber quality will live up to it's standards. I was pleased that it shipped and arrived as fast as it did, as it was my husbands birthday gift. He's very pleased with now owning a Weber. Great product!

If you are looking for a great grill, this is it! Easy clean up, and big enough for this family of four. I just wished it had a hinged cooking grate to add additional coals or wood chips.
I love my Weber grill !!

This is a perfect grill for one to three people. I grill almost every weekend now, and everything comes out smokey delicious. It is easy to use and clean up afterward. I regularly do chicken, burgers, links, and have even braised a chuck roast. Everything was great. Highly recommended.
Great Little Grill

We just love our new little Webber grill. It is just the right size for two people and even big enough if company drops by. It was very easy to assemble and it is a sturdy grill. We expect to enjoy using it for many years to come.

Reviewer: Lawrence Wong,
After 33 years I finally had to replace my Weber 18-1/2" grill. That old grill sat outside in the patio uncovered, in the open for all those years and rust finally started to appear. So I bought a new Weber 18-1/2" grill. I was disappointed though that the new grill is not as well made as my older grill. The material is much thinner gauge, the enamel finish has thin spots and the lid has very sharp edge around the open end that will cut your skin. I cannot file the edge off as that would expose bare metal to the elements. It is not likely this grill will last as long as my old grill. But it will provide enough years of great grilling to be worth the investment.

Reviewer: Grill Virgin,
I am a grill virgin, this was my first real grill. I works perfectly. I just wish I would have know that 18 1/2" was the height of the grill, I would have gotten the taller option. Nevertheless it worked just fine.
