I’m buying one for my husband for Father’s day and so far everyone has recommended WEBER.

I agree with the ones above. Weber is the best grill made. I bought my Weber Genesis B over 7 years ago and it’s still going strong with all original parts. It cost me $599us at the time.
I have a Weber grill and it is the BEST gas grill I have ever had. In fact, earlier today, I contacted Weber to see about getting a new cover. When I opened the manual, I realized that my grill is 10 years old!!! It still works beautifully and cooks better than any grill I have ever had. I would definitely purchase a Weber if I were you. When the time comes, I will purchase another Weber! They are definitely worth the money.
If you are going with charcoal….which i recommend.
I would go with the Char-Griller Super Pro Charcoal Grill/Smoker….for only 129.99 at LOWES right now.
Its practically everything you need and there are many other accessories/attachments that you can purchase later on.
It is very sturdy and perfect size for a family and occasional big gatherings. Ive had one for about a year and so far its been worth every penny

Each one of these has advantages and disadvantages, such as well as ease of use and how often does he grill, how convenient is it to get charcoal or refill a propane tank.

Webber 4 sure…great grills!! Any of them under $100 are great too. Easy to set up, easy to clean, and easy to find parts for. The webber smoker is nice too.
Buy from Costco…then if something goes wrong you can have a chance of getting a different one or money back.
